Just sign up via the secure Web site, and you can send e-mails requesting donations to your friends, family, and coworkers. Right before you head to Spare Time Lanes for the final turn-in on Friday, March 12 from 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., download and print a copy of your pledge receipt.

Dear JA Heroes:
Thanks to YOU, there's something really BIG worth celebrating in Benton, Franklin and Walla Walla counties! 100,000 local kids have been inspired to dream big, reach for the stars, and address new challenges and opportunities over the past twenty-two years through JA! Now, that's what we're talking about!
Through the years JA programs have remained relevant and timely. They are continually updated to be at the forefront of tomorrow's needs for individuals who can meet the demands of the job market, including high-growth, high-demand jobs. JA's new STEM-based 5th grade curriculum, Our Nation, is one such program. And special thanks to Mission Support Alliance, LLC for stepping up with a $30,000 donation to ensure the dramatic growth of this program, reaching more students each year!

UPDATE! JA County Fair Bowl 2010!

 County Fair Bowl 2010 was a HUGE success and we thank you for supporting JA's 14th annual bowling classic! We'll announce the winners of the drawings and contests in the next few weeks.
If you haven't completed your fundraising and collected all of your pledges, there's still time! The On-Line Fundraising tool is a GREAT way to collect additional pledges. Give us a call at 783-7222 or meet us at Spare Time Lanes & Cafe on Friday, March 12th from 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. to turn in your pledges and pick up your level prize.
Thanks again for joining us at JA's County Fair Bowl 2010!  Your support helps local students gain skills in financial literacy, work preparedness, and entrepreneurship. With your help, we are helping kids prepare for brighter futures!

 Be somebody special! Become a JA Classroom Volunteer. JA volunteers tell us THEY gain as much as the students they inspire. JA makes all the arrangements with local educators, offers you a choice of dates and times, provides you with engaging classroom materials and lesson plans. Your weekly, 1-hour visits over a 6-week period can make a difference that will last a lifetime. |
